Rep Council Attends Fall Leadership Conference
APLE Rep Council members attended the Orange Service Center Council Fall Leadership Conference 2018.
Attending this conference was a great way to gather information and tools so that we can continue to be a source of knowledge to and strengthen our membership. Topics included:
- Bargaining Post-Janus
- Membership engagement using social media
- Legislative updates
- Organizing strong school sites
- Essential skills for Site Representatives
- Membership recruitment and engagement
- Treasurer’s training
- Technology to assist with membership
To round out the day, we ended with a lovely dinner at Moreno’s in Orange.
